My thoughts are with Doreen's children, especially her daughter Debbie. I met Doreen 15 years ago when Debbie hosted me for a conference held there in the UK. I was attending a Global Viva - Cutting Edge conference for children at risk. With Debbie, I went to Doreen's house and she served us English tea and cakes. I was just beginning what would become a journey into becoming an American Anglophile. I appreciate Debbie and her mother being a part of my ongoing journey in learning to appreciate the British culture and people. As Debbie and her brother both mourn and celebrate their mother's passing into an eternity with the Father, Son and Spirit, we join them remembering the gift their mother was to all of us.
